Jive Pros Dance Academy is a versatile Dance Academy servicing the Roodepoort and Randburg areas in Johannesburg, South Africa.
We believe in movement and using this natural movement to create the art of dance.
Anyone can dance and through our years of experience, we are able to offer various dance styles to anyone and everyone interested in SOCIAL dancing or COMPETITIVE dancing and for those looking to make this their full-time career.
We are a group of passionate professional dancers offering Latin & Ballroom, Hip Hop, and Amapiano classes for individuals, singles, couples, kiddies and groups.
Wedding couples, Matric dance couples and formations are all welcome. Jive Pros also offers performances / entertainment for corporate functions, events and team building.
FOUNDER & DANCE DIRECTOR
Happy Seitlhamo
With dance running in his blood and spending a lifetime dedicated to the art, Happy is the Founder and Dance Director at the Academy.
He is a current competitive Professional Latin American and Ballroom dancer, coach, teacher, and mentor with over 30 years of experience under his belt. He is also leading the way with South African-born dance genres such as Amapiano and Pantsula. Other genres he has added to the academy include Hip Hop for kiddies and adults.
A professional dancer and TikTok sensation, Happy has achieved over 3 million views for his choreography and dance videos on social media. He has competed in Argentina as well as offered his students opportunities to dance in Poland and Croatia.
Happy is currently studying to attain his Licentiate in Latin Dancing leading him to be a Fellow and Judge for South Africa.

Prelene Singh
Prelene is the Professional Dance Partner to Happy and the Co-owner of the Academy.
She has a natural love for dance and has been trained in Modern, Hip Hop, Latin American & Ballroom.
She brings the flare to the Academy and is the brains behind the business.
